Scouts of St Xavier’s ICSE held the annual camp at Lakeside camp, Nilshi. Scouts jumping into a cool lake on a hot day, an archery bow stretched tight and aimed at a bullseye, roasting marshmallows over an open campfire — these are the images of Scouts at summer camp. However camp provides much more than just outdoor adventure and a week away from home. Hidden within the adventure lie the true benefits of a Scout’s at camp.

“As a Scout, I enjoyed the trek thoroughly, not to mention the fact that we were accompanied by
Mr.Pradeep , Mr. Xavier Anthony and Mr. Roshan Pais. Teachers filled with a sense of humor
and goodwill. We left school as energetic as possible, excited for the adventure, but we returned
as exhausted as possible, satisfied with the fact that we had climbed to the very top.
Considering we climbed for almost 5 km, we were absolutely exhausted by the end of the trip.
Overall, the trip was enjoyable, adventurous, exhausting, and thoroughly satisfying.”

Cookery Special………St. Xavier’s English Medium School (ICSE) had a wonderful and mouth-watering day. Students of classes Kindergarten to 4 celebrated the end of the Semester with a Cookery Special. Wonderful dishes like Sev Puri, salads and lime juice with a tinge of ginger whetted our appetites.
